S.T.A.R.S. (Sistas Trained in Awareness & Respect for Self)
What is S.T.A.R.S.?
In S.T.A.R.S. we use age and culturally sensitive interactive dialogue in a safe, confidential environment. We support females taking the initiative to become informed, educated and responsible for their own physical, mental, and sexual health, self-esteem, and healthy relationships. After completing the program, all S.T.A.R.S. participants are encouraged to go forth into their community and educate their Sistas.
